About Us

Our Mission

Join us in our quest for equality and empowerment, where we create opportunities and a brighter future for Rastafarians.

About Us

Camerhogne Indigenous Cannabis Farmers Co-operative (CICFC) has its roots deeply embedded in the fight for justice, equality, and empowerment of Rastafarians. Our story is a testament to resilience, unwavering commitment, and the relentless pursuit of a brighter future for the Rastafarian community. It all began in a time when the simple act of cultivating cannabis, a sacred and integral element of Rastafarian culture, could lead to prosecution and discrimination. Our founders recognized this injustice and made it their mission to challenge the status quo.

The historical persecution and discrimination against Rastafarians and the use of cannabis have been an unfortunate reality. For many years, Rastafarians were unjustly targeted by legal authorities, enduring arrests, incarceration, and the systemic denial of their rights. At the core of this persecution was the Rastafarian sacramental use of cannabis, which had deep spiritual and cultural significance. This oppressive environment, fueled by misconceptions and bias, compelled the founding members of CICFC to stand up against these injustices, knowing that change was long overdue.
CICFC emerged as a beacon of hope, determined to dismantle the oppressive systems that had marginalized the Rastafarian community for far too long.

Our cooperative embodies the spirit of resilience, unity, and the pursuit of justice. With unwavering dedication, we have set out to create a more inclusive and equitable future where Rastafarians can freely cultivate and use cannabis, realizing its profound spiritual and economic potential without fear of persecution. We stand at the forefront of a transformative movement, where the cultivation and use of cannabis will no longer be stigmatized, but instead celebrated for its cultural significance and economic opportunities.
